The Innovation and Advanced Training Halls (HIFA — Halles d’Innovation et de Formation Avancée) opened its doors today, on June 27, 2024, in the presence of provincial and federal ministers as well as partners — whether financial, business or academic.

HIFA is a unique stakeholder for driving innovation and improving manufacturing efficiency among Québec businesses. By aligning training and skill set development with innovation and automation, HIFA will support the development of new smart manufacturing technologies and the competitiveness of our businesses.

A new state-of-the-art infrastructure

HIFA is located near the Premier Tech Campus. It is the first recognized innovation centre in Québec, with over 50 000 square feet divided in three halls for the demonstration and experimentation of robotic cells and collaborative applied research in the smart manufacturing and next-generation packaging industries.

HIFA also includes numerous workspaces spread across three floors, a state-of-the-art laboratory, and board and training rooms with cutting-edge equipment.

 It is the first recognized innovation centre in Québec, with over 50 000 square feet divided in three halls for the demonstration and experimentation of robotic cells and collaborative applied research.
