Premier Tech is seeking to expand its team by adding (3) full-time permanent Shipper/Receivers at its Richer, Manitoba facility. We are looking to fill both Day and Evening shift positions. In this role, you will be part of a team that ensures the right raw materials, ingredients and packaging processes are respected while working safely, efficiently and within the quality standards. This position offers variety, training, and physical activity. You will also have the opportunity to operate equipment while growing your career with a company that is almost 100 years old.

Your future role in a few words

• Accurately picking orders for customers in safe and effective manner – using high reach
• To ensure the safety of everyone, make sure machine is in proper working order (fluids, complete daily check list, etc)
• Could involve the loading and unloading of trucks in the yard – ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• Retrieve wrapped pallets from Production staging area and move to proper storage area within the yard(s), keeping the area clean and organized.
• Reading and writing ability sufficient to communicate easily as well as the ability to add and subtract
• Previous Forklift & Warehouse experience (certified)
• Ability to load both Van and Flatbed trucks
• Organizational skills required to maintain the Warehouse in an orderly manner during peak times
• Good working knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Perform any other work as assigned by the Supervisor

Required skills

Ability and skill required to operate a forklift, in a safe and effective manner, including daily checks of safety equipment, paying extra attention to safety procedures. Attention to detail, and good at completing paperwork is a requirement for this position. Forklift certification is required, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Order Picking: 1 year

Required license or certification:

• Fork Lift Certification
