Bernard Bélanger receives the Ordre national du Québec

Premier Tech is pleased to announce that Mr. Bernard Bélanger will be presented with the insignia of Officer of the Ordre national du Québec by the Premier of Québec, Mr. François Legault, for his significant contribution to the development and outreach of Québec.

This honour highlights the career of a groundbreaking businessman who has harnessed innovation, research and development, as well as the talent and expertise of Premier Tech team members, to drive the growth of both the company and the communities in which it operates.

Grateful for this honour, it was important for Mr. Bélanger to mention his pride in how the company contributes to showcasing Québec talents worldwide: “I am honoured to receive this recognition acknowledging the success of Premier Tech, which is now an inspiration for other entrepreneurs in the province,” says the chairman of the board of directors of Premier Tech.

The Ordre national du Québec is the highest honour awarded by the Québec government. Every year, the prime minister awards individuals who, from past to present, have influenced Québec’s growth in their own way.

The insignia award ceremony will be held on June 19, 2024, in Québec City in the Agora of the Hôtel du Parlement. For Mr. Bernard Bélanger, this honour is in addition to many others, namely the National Assembly medal in 2023, the Order of Canada in 2016, the National Order of the Legion of Honour in 2014 and two honorary doctorates — one from University of Québec at Rimouski in 2004 and one from Université Laval in 1997.
