Your future role

  • Oversee the dismantling of industrial equipment and pallet racks
  • Plan the installation of new racks and of an outdoor dome-shaped building, and organize the storage yard
  • Supervise the disassembly and installation teams
  • Ensure the daily occupational health and safety follow-up, maintain good practices, manage the safety zones and document relevant information
  • Make decisions and address issues as you go
  • Set, manage and maintain deadlines  
  • Work with site managers to maintain the plant’s daily operations during the construction
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team at the Premier Tech World Headquarters, in Rivière-du-Loup, and prepare progress reports

Required skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, construction engineering, civil engineering, project management or any other related field
  • Experience with health and safety on construction sites
  • Experience with subcontractors and work organization on a construction site
  • Knowledge of hoisting equipment operation (power lift trucks, aerial device, etc.)
  • Autonomy
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solutions driven
  • Proficiency in English — for communication with clients and suppliers outside Québec
