A sports destination that is worth visiting
The success of this 56th final would have been impossible without the proper infrastructures to ensure the smooth running of the competitions and welcome the athletes as well as the spectators. On that note, Rivière-du-Loup has nothing to envy the big cities — its infrastructures make it a prime location for this kind of event.
“All the infrastructures that have been implemented since the first final in 1971 result from a great collaboration between the city, the school service centre, the Cégep and the local companies.”

Place des Jeux Premier Tech
The Place des Jeux Premier Tech was designed for the final and was the main meeting point throughout the event.
Many day and evening activities were scheduled — winter slide, escape games, painting on snow, miniature golf, sugar shack, face paintings, tales, etc.
There was also a dome where you could warm up, have a snack and drink a hot beverage.
“It is amazing how much there is here within a five-minute walk.
Everyone is impressed with the modernity and the proximity of the installations.”

The commitment of the volunteers also played a key role in the success of these Jeux du Québec. More than 150 Premier Tech team members gathered and engaged to contribute to the smooth running of the event. This commitment highlights the strength of a team and the pleasure to get involved in the community.
“We had people volunteering every day. Making a difference is important at Premier Tech and we really enjoyed being involved in the Jeux du Québec.”
